Our Boat The Two Explorkers 2019-01-27T12:28:50+00:00

Meet SV Seamlessly

After thousands of miles, we said goodbye to Explorker2, the 2004 Monaco Windsor that let us explore the United States and Canada, and moved into a 60-foot catamaran. We shared our purchase experience with Just Catamarans here.

Boat Layout

We have not been able to figure out which layout we have, but we know that is not the owner’s layout. We are considering to convert SV Seamlessly to an owner’s layout in the future – if we really want it. Instead of another double bed in the port full, Seamlessly has bunk beds that we are currently using for tool storage.

Repairs and Refit

Our catamaran was in great shape, but we wanted to switch up a couple of things, such as replacing furling line blocks, replacing the batteries with lithium-ion batteries, installing solar panels, adding an oil change system, and a fuel polisher to clean our diesel fuel.

Our Wishlist

In the future, sometime, we would like to…

  • Replace our soft bimini with a hard bimini to stop rain water from coming into the cockpit and give us space for more solar in the future
  • Get a full enclosure for the cockpit, to keep the rain our and our cushions nice and dry
