Our Boat The Two Explorkers 2018-10-05T10:53:10+00:00

Meet SV Seamlessly

After thousands of miles, we said goodbye to Explorker2, the 2004 Monaco Windsor that let us explore the United States and Canada, and move on to a boat. We fell in love with a beautiful 2006 Fountaine Pajot Eleuthera 60, a 60-foot sailing catamaran; meet SV Seamlessly. We shared our purchase experience with Just Catamarans here.

Boat Layout

We have not been able to figure out which layout we have, but we know that is not the owner’s layout. We are considering to convert SV Seamlessly to an owner’s layout in the future – if we really want it. Instead of another double bed in the port full, Seamlessly has bunk beds that we are currently using for tool storage.

Repairs and Refit

Our catamaran was in amazing shape when we took possession. There have been a few little things we have done, such as replacing some of the furling line blocks, but we really have not had to do any major repairs. The little things add up quickly though; bigger sailboat, bigger rigging, bigger parts = more expensive.

Lithium-Ion and Solar

Because of our experience in our RV, we decided to add solar panels and replace the batteries with lithium-ion batteries. The work is being done by Just Catamarans and once the project is done, we will provide an update with details (including the specs).
